Being one of hardest hit industries during the pandemic, it becomes a necessity for hotels to adapt to the various restrictions in place as well as the new norm. In line with guests’ desire to eat out safely, The Chow Kit, a leading boutique hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur who was named by “Travel + Leisure” as “The Best New Hotels in the World” in 2020, offers a unique private dining experience “PRIVATE @ The Chow Kit”, where guests get to dine safely and comfortably in a private room.
Prior to the launching of “PRIVATE @ The Chow Kit”, we were pleased to have collaborated with The Chow Kit to produce a promotional video for the dining experience. In order to deliver a video that truly reflects The Chow Kit’s status as a premium boutique hotel, we made it a point to highlight their services and ambience in addition to their food, creating a complete dining experience for their guests.
We featured two couples as guests in the video, following their exclusive experience from the moment they were welcomed at the hotel doorstep, to their dining experience with “PRIVATE @ The Chow Kit”, and finally ending with a night’s stay in one of their suites. We also made it a point to make full use of their architecture and lighting to depict the premium outlook and ambience of the hotel.

“PRIVATE @ The Chow Kit” became a huge attraction for those looking for a short staycation along with some fine dining experience. It further cemented The Chow Kit as one of the best hotel of its kind in downtown Kuala Lumpur. The video has amassed a total of more than 355,000 views across Youtube and Facebook, becoming the most viewed video The Chow Kit has produced to date.
